Boogity, Boogity, Boogity - Let's go Drafting

Hello Fellowship,
Labor Day is right around the corner, and we are ready to close the chapter on yet another White Boy Summer. At least last year we had the Special Olympics to entertain us, but to close out the Summer we were stuck watching our own Special Olympics called the Cleveland Browns Quarterback Room.
Our second ever Marble 1 event took place, where our marbles twisted and turned through every 7 layer robstacle obstacle to give us the best draft spot possible, but in the end there can only be winner - so congratulations to this years Marbula 1 Winner:
Alyssa - Sack in the City
Now, with my wife winning, does this mean nepotism & favoritism is alive and well?
You freaking bet!
Look, when you play the commissioner’s favorite position (spoiler alert: it’s tight end), you get the perks that come with it.
But jokes aside, our draft order is set for Sunday, and we have some fun draft buddy parings.
2025 Draft Order
The official order for this year’s draft is:
Rob
Alex
Alyssa
Tom
Dom
Trevor
Wakeford
Jess
Abigail
Katie
Ron
Tony
Zach
Jimmy
Just like a Sunday at the masters, who you are with matters. Let’s see some Key Draft Buddy Parings:
- The Rivalry continues to stay heated as Mick Mouse 2018 Champion Rob is paired off with 2025 Champion Alex at the 1 & 2 spots respectively. Will we see some draft board sniping?
- A lot of historically success up front: Picks 2, 5, and 6 hold 5 out of our 6 league championships.
- The women move as a pack, with 3/4 grouped together in the 8, 9, 10 slots - Also known as “Pumpkin Spice Row”.
- Jimmy and Zach swap spots from last year as Zach goes to 13 and Jimmy leads the turnaround in our snake draft. Chaos has no choice but to ensue with these two ending and starting rounds.
As a reminder, the draft will commence on:
AUGUST 31st, 1pm EST (aka Big Goon Kickoff)

Last minute Draft details…
As a reminder, there is an in person element in the draft, which means the Draft pick timing is currently set to 5 minutes to give those in person time to announce the picks. Online folks get cozy between your picks.
If I can get a tech solution set up where people online can watch, I’ll hit up the online people directly.
Let’s go drafting!
