Week 16: 'Twas the Night Before Finals

A Christmas Poem authored by RawbPeeple

Twas the night before Xmas, and all through the league, not a manager watched waivers - not even Jimm-ee!

Every lineup was set with thought and with care; in the hopes of winning a chip or avoiding a toilet bowl scare!

If you're out, fret not, we've a Christmas special recap as a stocking stuffer. Because after all, win or lose, we all cherish in spending time with one another.

Spaghetti Mafia vs. Bodega Cats In winners' side, a former champ bared his teeth and his pride. Josh Allen scored low, but James Connor and the Falcons reindeer defense were soon by his side. The goombas did fight, with Gibbs and Darnold their best shot did they shoot; yet in this story they went out, stomped underneath a jumping CAT-Mario's black boot!

LuLu Lemons vs. Beerserkers In a contest of east v. west, we saw who was best. The Beerserkers shat their beds with Brian Thomas Jr and the rest. With LuLu, lemonade was made and new ceilings were raised. James cooked a feast with his friends, JSN, Kyler, and even Bucky Irving made sure the meat was well braised.

These two teams did eat, and now it's time for a new champ. This week we'll know who's really best, will it be Alex or Dom's camp?

Now gather all ye round, for a few tales of loss, as teams old and new fought to avoid toy-liets at whatever the cost.

Detroit opened up a bounce back win, but it was a Haribo lineup mishap that left Kirk Cousins still in. While in NYC, the Sacks were clinking glasses. It was Tony's Gooners, with Chase and Bo Nix, who couldn't toast eggnog or even shake their cold asses.

Under the tree, the Stroud Boys found their own glee. With Bowers at the height of his powers, Rawb lost to Ron not two but now three! And a mistake under the mistletoe as our writer kissed the wrong matchup of the week, it was this week that Jimmy continued Kong's losing streak.

With a machine in his path, what would Josh do? Not much it seems, as he found coal in his presents and maybe some poo? We'll see next week, how our Malört Smeagles fare.

Until then Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good-night - from us here in the Fellowship and to managers everywhere!
